ABOUT ME

SageLogo
Sage is my inspirational horse and teacher of eight years, but the word also means wisdom and is the common name for the healing herb, salvia. The herb name came from Latin salvia, from salvus meaning healthy. Salvere in Latin means to heal or to save.

I do not profess to be an expert; I am far from that. I leave that job to the horses. Know your horse well; there are no better experts on natural horsemanship and natural horse care than the horses themselves.

You are your horse’s compass – and determine direction of care – but in many ways they are the needle of that compass.

Any information that I am passing along is free for you to use or toss as you please. I appreciate you stopping by to drink in a little lemonade from some of my lemons or to bask in the glory of some of my joys and successes.

Check out the blog category for Sage herself to follow Sage’s story and progress.

>There is a lot more information about Sage and natural horse care on the WEBSITE. Thanks for stopping by!
