Today I took these pictures of Sage and her little buddy from the other side of the fence. He is a young calf that seems to really like Sage (and vice versa); I find him by the fenceline near her quite frequently even though he has other cows to hang out with in his own pasture. Nobody doesn’t like Sage :) .

The one problem is that he is not a dairy cow, so one day he will be gone. I just hope they do not do it right in front of her, in plain view, like they did last Fall to some other cows that are now hamburger.

As an update, she seems to be doing better and better each day. She has energy and moves better than I can remember. It has been a very long journey to arrive at this point, so I am grateful, relieved, and feeling somewhat vindicated for my eight years of relentless searching.

Her next session with Dr. Seeyle is in one week on June 23rd.

For the summary of her story, read the website page that speaks to this and also read the blog category entries of Sage Herself.
